Creativity, color coordination, and design have always been a passion of mine. With years of experience as a buyer, product developer, and in upper management at a major retail chain, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many talented professionals who helped shape my journey into the design world. Growing up in a family of skilled artists, color and design have always come naturally to me. I’m the youngest of ten children and grew up in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. In 1995 I made St. Michael my home after marrying and starting a family.
After a successful career in retail management, traveling across the U.S., I decided it was time to slow down and focus on my family. My two sons are now pursuing their own careers at NDSU, and it was at this time that I chose to follow my true passion. I earned two degrees from the New York School of Design, one for Interior Design and one for Professional Photography and became a certified home stager and color consultant.
Every day, I’m grateful to do what I love. When I’m not working or spending time with family and friends, you’ll find me outdoors, soaking in the beauty of nature—whether it’s birds, flowers, sunrises, sunsets, or anything else that inspires me. And of course, I never go anywhere without my camera. You never know when you’ll encounter the perfect moment to capture!
